On a Topix forum ‘The Train’s A Comin’ fans are discussing the significance of the date and also the plate reading ‘New York Central System” and its hidden meaning.

One points out the train is a Dreyfus Hudson and the image is going to be used on the sides of the band’s tour trucks being prepared this week in New Jersey.

Fan site VHND.com is equally stumped suggesting the date could refer to the release of the first single or possibly the full album.

Van Halen will release their first studio album since 1998 and first album with David Lee Roth since 1984 early 2012 through Interscope Records. The official date has not yet been announced.
