The song was the biggest selling download in Australia in 2011 and has been the number one song in Germany for the past four weeks.

When it was covered by Canadian group Walk Off The Earth and uploaded to YouTube on January 5, the cover song generated over 37 million views and made viral sensations of the Canadians who this week performed the Gotye song on The Ellen Show.

Gotye’s song, featuring Kimbra is featured on his ‘Making Mirrors’ album. It was the biggest selling Australian album of 2011 and due for release in the UK in March.

Meanwhile, Kimbra has her own album ‘Vows’ out now in Australia. She will showcase the album at SXSW in Austin in March 2012.
