50 Cent will star in a new TV drama called ‘Power’.

‘Power’ is about James ‘Ghost’ St Patrick, a New York nightclub owner who creates Fortune 500 from his business but is still a drug-lord.

The Starz cable network has picked up eight episodes of the drama.

50 Cent told the Hollywood reporter, “This is a passion project for me, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have found a home with Starz. I look forward to working with this incredibly talented team on making Power a hit show.”

Courtney Kemp Agboh (The Good Wife) created ‘Power’. It is scheduled the show to debut in October.
