AC/DC are celebrating the 40th anniversary edition of Highway To Hell

AC/DC ‘Highway To Hell’ 40th anniversary of Highway To Hell is being celebrated with special online events including a first official release of a live version of the title track.

Earlier information about a new edition of the album was not quite correct. The confusiona rose when a new logo for the 40th anniversary was distributed to Australian media in place of the offical cover when the album was reserviced to media today.

The ‘Highway To Hell’ album was originally released on 27 July, 1979. The Australian cover was modified for the international release. Original vinyl copies are now collectors items.

All songs on ‘Highway to Hell’ were written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young and Bon Scott. The line-up featured current members Angus Young, Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd, who will all be present on the next AC/DC album, recorded last October 2018 in Vancouver.
