Angus Young was back on stage with Gun n’ Roses in Sydney Saturday but so was Angry Anderson.

Guns N Roses covered Rose Tattoo’s ‘Nice Boys’ on the 1988 EP ‘G n’ R Lies’. Rose Tattoo supported Gun N Roses in Sydney and frontman Angry Anderson joined the Gunners to perform his song with them.

Anderson’s Rose Tattoo opened for Guns n’ Roses on the previous Australian tour and often performed the song with Axl Rose.

AC/DC’s Angus Young is home in Sydney visiting family and joined his fourth singer for two AC/DC classics. Young is working on a new album AC/DC album with Rose on vocals.

The Damned + The Hard Ons, Northcote Theatre, Friday 22nd March 2024

The Damned released the first ever UK punk single, “New Rose” off album Damned, Damned, Damned, in 1976, and were often overshadowed by their English punk counterparts. Now in their late sixties and still touring world-wide, featuring the original line up of Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies and Paul Gray, they are the ones having the last laugh and have left their old rivals for dead, in certain respects, quite literally!
