‘Thirty’ is Callea’s third album after ‘Anthony Callea’ (2005) and ‘A New Chapter’ (2006).

Following the release of ‘A New Chapter’ 7 years ago Callea pursued a career in theatre, first starring in ‘Dead Man Walking’ (2007), followed by ‘Rent’, ‘Wicked’ and then ‘Grease The Musical’.

In March this year it was announced that Anthony has signed a record deal with ABC Music to release the ‘Thirty’ album, mark his 30th birthday last December.

‘Thirty’ covers songs from his 30 years including his version of Cheap Trick’s ‘The Flame’ and Heart’s ‘Alone’, songs from his Italian heritage ‘Nella Fantasia’ and ‘Di Sole E D’Azzurro’ as well as new and original songs ‘My All’ and ‘I’ll Be The One’.

Callea’s first album ‘Anthony Callea’ peaked at no 1 in Australia and solo 140,000 copies. ‘A New Chapter’ peaked at no. 9.
