Australian Albums: Flume’s Cut-Price Deal Pushes Album Back On Top

Flume must have had another Tesla payment due so he has raised some revenue by dropping the price of his ‘Skin’ album to $9.99.

The discount store price has worked with fans grabbing enough Flume bargains to slip ‘Skin’ back to number one on the iTunes chart.

Flume was released seven weeks ago and debuted at number one. The album has had a decent stint in the charts. First week sales for the album were 17708 and last week in week 7 it was hovering at 1069 sales.

Since its release Flume ‘Skin’ has sold 29101 copies but with just over 73% of all sales coming out of the first week a little sales strategy does not go astray.

Add another 1000 or so this week and it has just pulled over the 30,000 mark but is still 5000 shy of a Gold Record.

Australia’s To 10 Albums for 23 July 2016

1. Flume – Skin
