The Post Malone and 21 Savage rap-hip-hop track “Rockstar” retains its lead on the ARIA Singles Chart for a seventh straight week.

“Rockstar” is now the equal seventh longest running No.1 this decade alongside other seven-week-strectches for such songs as “Someone Like You” by Adele (2011), “Thrift Shop” for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (almost this week in 2012), “Love Yourself” for Justin Bieber (2015/16), “One Dance” by Drake and “Say You Won’t Let Go for James Arthur both from 2016, and the song is now the second longest running ‘Rock’ titled track behind 10 weeks runners “I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker” for Sandi Thom (2006), “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO (2011) and “Eagle Rock” for Daddy Cool (1971).

The new Canadian No.1 and the current Irish and English chart-topper is “Havana” by Camila Cabello with Young Thug, and here it stays at No.2 for a fourth week, although it is the No.1 digital selling track of the week, it lacks behind Post Malone’s streams, but thankfully the track is newly certified 2x▲Platinum in sales, and former No.1 “Too Good at Goodbyes” by Sam Smith jumps back up seven places to land at No.3 thanks to add-on sales from his second album coming in at No.2.

Sam’s jump pushes down “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran to No.4 and recent visitor to our shores in Khalid with “Young, Dumb & Broke”, that track also scoring a 2x▲Platinum cert this week, and the 19 year-old rapper also lands a second entry to the Top 10 this week, as his collaboration with Marshmello and “Silence” jumps up three places to land at No.9 and it becomes his third Top 10 in Australia (all occurring in the past two months).
