Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z have enrolled their daughter Blue Ivy in school as they put down roots in Los Angeles.
The couple, who have long called New York home, are said to have made the decision to move to the West Coast on the advice of one very famous friend.
According to Us Weekly, Gwyneth Paltrow helped sway her pals, and three-year-old Blue may even end up going to the same prestigious school as the Oscar-winning actress’s own children, Apple, ten, and Moses, eight.
‘Beyonce and Jay Z are making LA their permanent home based a lot on the advice of their friends. The friend that really influenced them to move was Gwyneth Paltrow,’ a source told the magazine. ‘Gwyneth was telling Jay and Bey about the quality of life for her kids in LA and really swayed Beyonce and Jay to make the move. It’s all for Blue Ivy.’
As TMZ reports, the power couple have already enrolled their tot in an elite private school, which charges a staggering $15,080 per year in tuition.
While it is said to usually only accept new students at the beginning of the school year, bosses apparently made an exception for the youngster.
