Beyonce celebrated her 35th birthday by throwing a Soul Train-themed fancy dress party attended by stars including Usher, Kelly Rowland and Alicia Keys.

Beyonce turned 35 on Sunday but she kept the celebrations going until Monday, America’s Labor Day when she got dressed up in 70s-style clothes for her bash, which paid homage to the U.S. music variety show.

In an online video, Beyonce is seen busting moves on the dancefloor in sparkly one-legged trousers and cropped shirt with flared sleeves as husband Jay-Z, who is dressed in a wig and military jacket to look like late rocker Jimi Hendrix, joined her as they reportedly perform a saucier version of Soul Train’s line dance, according to Us Weekly.

At a different point in the evening, Beyonce is presented with a cake, topped with sparklers, as she wears metallic hot pants and platform heels with a loose-fitting orange top and retro sunglasses. Online footage shows Jay-Z introducing her as the cake is brought out and their daughter Blue Ivy can be heard saying, “Happy birthday mummy!” and the crowd gives a resonating “aw” at the four-year-old.

“Thank you, everybody, for coming. Y’all did such an incredible job committing (to the theme) and I’m so happy to be here,” Beyonce said before adding to Jay-Z. “Thank you, baby.”

In the video, Blue Ivy can also be seen repeatedly prodding the cake with a finger before snatching a piece while everyone watches Beyonce’s speech.

Former Destiny’s Child star Kelly channeled disco star Donna Summer in a low-cut gold jumpsuit, while other guests included their former bandmate Michelle Williams, Janelle Monae, Alicia’s husband Swizz Beatz, Chance the Rapper, model Chanel Iman and Carmelo and LaLa Anthony.

Beyonce also took to Instagram on Monday to thank her followers for their birthday wishes. She wrote, “I am so fortunate to have the love and support of my family, my friends, and my hive. We’ve grown up together and you guys continue to inspire and motivate me every day.

“I’m so grateful for every challenge, every smile, every tear, every discovery, every sacrifice, every triumph, every stretch mark, every kiss, every scar. I strive to make you proud. I love YOOOUUUU!!!”
