Bishop Apologizes For Touching Ariana Grande At Aretha Franklin Service

Bishop Charles H Ellis III has apologized to Ariana Grande after being called out for inappropriate behaviour at the service for Aretha Franklin.

In the midst of the #MeToo movement and political correctness gone mad Bishop Ellis was accused of crossing the line when he hugged the 25-year old pop star as she came on stage.

“It would never be my intention to touch any woman’s breasts. I guess I put my arm around her. I hug all the female and all the male artists, everybody that was up. I shook their hand and hugged them. That’s what we are all about in the church. Maybe I crossed the border. Maybe I was too friendly and familiar. Again, I apologize”.

The Bishop is the Pastor at Detroit’s Greater Space Temple. He also had to say sorry for his introduction. He said, “When I saw Ariana Grande on the schedule I thought it was a new something at Taco Bell”.

“I certainly wasn’t to apologize to Ariana and her fans and the whole Hispanic community if it was taken the wrong way,” said Bishop Ellis. “Maybe it was joke that went bad. When you are doing a program for nine hours you try to keep it lively and make some funny references. I love everybody. I certainly hope she will forgive me. The last thing I want to be is a distraction to Miss Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul. This is all about her, it is not about me and I’m so sorry”.

It should be noted that all criticism for Bishop Ellis has been from third parties. Ariana Grande is yet to comment on what happened or indeed if she was even offended by it despite posting multiple tweets since the incident happened.

It should also be noted that a seperate stream of criticism if being thrown at Ariana Grande for her inappropriate dress at the funeral. Convention dictates that a dresss at a funeral should be below the knees. Seperate prudish threads are focused on that as well.
