Brandy Plays To 40 In South Africa

American R&B singer performed to a near empty stadium in South Africa this week after soccer fans vacated the game after it finished instead of staying for the entertainment.

The problem was Brandy was meant to be a surprise guest at the show so the audience did not know she was coming on and left after the game.

The pop/ R&B singer is best known for the US top 10 hits ‘I Wanna Be Down’, ‘Baby’, ‘Brokenhearted’, ‘Sittin’ In My Room’ and number ones ‘The Boy Is Mine’ and ‘Have You Ever’.

EOnline reports that Brandy performed to “maybe a 40 people audience” and sang two songs before walking off.

The post-game entertainment took place at the Mandela Sports and Culture Day in Johannesburg, South Africa.
