New Zealand duo Broods were forced to cancel their Brisbane show last night due to ferocious storms in the area. The cancelled show has now been rescheduled for Sunday.

A power outage at the Brisbane venue The Hi Fi meant Broods were literally in the dark about when the show could continue.

In a statement, promoter Live Nation announce:

Due to the intense storm activity in Brisbane this evening, and the resulting power outages at The Hi Fi and across the city, it is necessary to postpone tonight’s BROODS performance.

We are unable to confirm whether power will be restored within reasonable time to go ahead with the show, and would like to thank fans for their patience.

We’re pleased to confirm that BROODS will return to Brisbane to perform for fans on Sunday November 30th.

BROODS will perform at The Hi Fi on Sunday Nov 30th – all tickets for tonights rescheduled show will be valid for Sunday’s show.

Fans unable to attend the show on Sunday and wishing to obtain a refund may do so by presenting their ticket at the place of purchase by 5pm Friday Nov 28.
