Cat Stevens Plays Brazil

Cat Stevens (aka Yusuf), opened his Peace Train Tour last Saturday and Sunday at the Credicard Hall is Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Anyone who was afraid that Yusuf had rid himself of the Cat Stevens years can rest assured that the majority of the sets on both nights was made up of the singer’s music from the 60’s and 70’s, including a smattering of some of his biggest hits.

The hits were not the basis for the shows, though, as well known and deep album cuts were scattered throughout the sets and a number of songs that did well on the charts were omitted from one of the nights or both.
