Chugg Music Signs Casey Barnes

Country Rock artist Casey Barnes will release his new music through Chugg Music.

The last couple of years have been a time incredible of growth for me personally and professionally,’ Casey Barnes said in a statement. ‘I dared to approach Michael Chugg when I played CMC Rocks and was stunned to find that he knew my music.’

Chugg Music is the home of Sheppard, Lime Cordiale, Avalanche City and The Griswolds.

‘We can’t wait to release the brand-new recordings that Casey has coming up, starting in September,’ said Michael Chugg. ‘We’re assembling a world class team to work with Casey, and we’ve been getting great feedback already from Australia and the U.S. about what the music could achieve with Australian and international audiences.’

Chugg is already planning an international role-out for Casey. Frank Varrasso will take his new music to radio in Australia. In the US, Mark Roeder of William Morris Agency (WME) will present Casey Barnes to promoters and music distribution will be via MGM.

Casey Barnes released his debut album in 2007. In 2009 in appeared in season seven of Australian Idol were he was a winner for not winning, which meant his career wasn’t controlled by them.

Casey has released four albums to date. His most recent album ‘The Good Life’ was released in 2018.
