Coldplay should remain at the top of the Australian album chart this week and Justice Crew are also looking set for a 5th week at the top of the singles chart.

Australia looks to be heading for a fifth week of “Que Sera” by Justice Crew at No.1, whilst waiting in the wings to take over the top spot are a bunch of European acts.

Norwegian duo Nico & Vinz with “Am I Wrong”, Dutch DJ MR. Probz with “Waves” and German act Milky Chance who have been sitting at #2 on the ARIA Singles chart for the past two weeks with “Stolen Dance”, could all be inside the Top 5 and within striking distance of the top spot.

Iggy Azalea with “Fancy” and her teaming with Ariana Grande on “Problems” should retain their Top 10 status this week, along with ZHU with “Faded”, Sia with her “Chandelier” and Sam Smith with “Stay With Me”, whilst Dami Im could jump into the Top 10 with her new single “Super Love” (TW-16) replacing Sheppard and “Geronimo” which could be just outside the ten this coming weekend.

Sigma landed the top new entry of the week with “Nobody to Love” (TW-21), which could jump into the Top 15 on the next chart as too Tove Lo with “Stay High” (TW-22), whilst Illy might land his first Top 20 entry as “Tightrope” could leap up after two weeks at No.27 and the new Nicki Minaj track “Pills N’ Potions’ (New TW-37) looks set for a similar berthing.

At the moment it looks like the newly issued Sia single “Eye of the Needle” could be the highest new entry of the week, somewhere within the Top 30, whilst also moving into the thirty could be Kiesza with “Hideaway” (TW-31) and after his performance at the end of The Voice on Monday night, the Keith Urban track “Shame” (HP-50, Sept 2013) could return to the charts and a new peak, also helped by his upcoming national tour.

New Linkin Park track “Wastelands” could make a higher-end-of-the-Top 40 entry this week whilst another couple of entries to the forty could be the debut single for The Madden Brothers (Joel & Benji from Good Charlotte as a duo) entitled “We are Done” and The Vamps who have teamed with Demi Lovato for their new single “Somebody to You”. Angus & Julia Stone came in at No.56 with their new track “Heart Beats Slow” which should jump into the Top 50 this weekend, as too “MMM Yeah” (Re-entry TW-82) for Austin Mahone with Pitbull which picked up NOVA additions this past week. Also jumping up into the fifty should be Beyonce with “Pretty Hurts” (New TW-68), whilst also within the 41 to 50 region Will.i.am with Cody Wise could enter with his new single “It’s My Birthday”.

‘The Voice: Battles’ Part 2 concluded this past week, and chart re-entries from the performances could come from James Morrison with “You Make it Real” (HP-100, April 2009) and John Legend with “Ordinary People” (HP-88, Aug 2005) in the upper reaches of the 51 to 60 chart region, Mumford & Sons with “The Cave” (HP-32, peaked March 2010) (Top 80) and Australian Crawl’s classic “Reckless” (HP-1, peaked late Nov 1983, re-entered HP-71 Feb 2014) (Top 90).

Lana Del Rey came in at No.79 with her new track “Shades of Cool” which this week could jump up into the Top 60 and new single for The Collective entitled “Burn the Bright Lights” and the new deadmau5 song “Infra Super Turbo Pigcart Racer” could both make Top 70 debuts this weekend. Further entries could come via Kim Cesarion with “I Love This Life”, The Lonely Island with Lil’ Jon & Sam F. with “When Will the Bass Drop” and possibly John Mayer’s cover of the Beyonce song “XO”.

Albums:
Coldplay look set for a third week at No.1 in Australia with their fifth chart-topping set here “Ghost Stories”, although current tourist to our shores Ellie Goulding looks set to take her long-running “Halcyon Days” album into the Top 5 for the first time (it peaked at #12 in September 2013 and dropped out of the charts in the first week of May), as the new ‘International’ edition was released to coincide with her tour here.

Last weeks #2 entry for Sam Smith should retain its Top 10 status this week along with ZHU, Iggy Azalea, Michael Jackson, the ‘Frozen’ Soundtrack and Chet Faker, whilst they could be joined by the Jesus Culture debut album “Unstoppable Love” and the new 50 Cent album “Animal Ambition – An Untamed Desire to Win”.

The third album for South African act Die Antwoord “Donker Mag” looks set for a Top 20 debut, which would become the bands highest charting album here, whilst Asian act Taeyang could enter a little lower with their new release “Rise”. With Keith Urban’s Voice appearance and his tour starting June 14th, his current album “Fuse” (TW-39) could leap up and into the Top 20, also pulling his collection “The Story So Far” (TW-99) up as well.

Further entries to the albums chart could come from Adore Delano with her album “Till Death Do us Party”, Royal Blood with “Out of the Black (EP)”, Pentakill with their set “Smite and Ignite” and the self-titled EP for the Dune Rats. And the passing on Wednesday of Doc Neeson of The Angels could see their recent “40 Years of Rock” volume one (TW-63) and two collections rise back up the album charts.
