Courtney Barnett and The National Contribute To New Grateful Dead Tribute

Courtney Barnett and The National are two of the artists who have covered The Grateful Dead on the new tribute album ‘Day of the Dead’.

Barnett has recorded ‘New Speedway Boogie’ from the 1970 album ‘Workingman’s Dead’ while The National do ‘Morning Dew’, a song written by Bonnie Dobson and featured on The Dead’s 1967 debut self-titled album.

The 59 track ‘Day of the Dead’ album will be released on May 20, 2016.
