Sydney indie pop act Dappled Cities celebrate their ARIA Award nomination with an adorably lo-fi webcam clip.

The band’s most recent album Lake Air received a nomination for Best Independent Release in yesterday’s ARIA Award list, so they’ve quickly rushed out a “world-class video” for their tune ‘Waves’.
Dave Rennick says in a press release, “We are overwhelmed at the inclusion of our album in this brilliant ARIA category, so much so that we wanted to share our excitement with you via pictures & music – it’s the language we know best. We hope you love this world-class video, and we hope to see you all at the shows”
Very tongue-in-cheek, the lads get together via webcam and perform the tune. They’ve also released an online lyric sheet to encourage sing-alongs on their national tour, which kicks off tonight.
