Dolores O’Riordan Post Mortem Delayed Until April

The cause of death for The Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan has been delayed until April.

The results of the post-mortem into the death of the Irish singer were due to be announced on Friday (19 January 2018).

While the death of Dolores O’Riordan has been certified “non suspicious” the coroner has requested the additional time for further investigation as to the cause of death. It is known had Dolores had a bipolar disorder.

As the death is “non suspicious” the body has been released to the family.

The body will lie in public reposal at St Joseph’s Church, O’Connell Avenue, Limerick, from 12.30pm-4pm, Sunday, January 21st.

According to her local newspaper in Ireland, “Ms O’Riordan’s remains will be separately reposed at Cross’ Funeral Home, Ballyneety, from 4pm, Monday, followed by her removal that night at 8pm, to St Ailbes’ Church, Ballybricken for her funeral mass, Tuesday at 11.30am. This will be followed by a private family burial”.
