Donna Summer died from lung cancer according to reports circulating at of the USA.

The family of Donna Summer is yet to reveal the official cause of death but lung cancer has been cited as the reason the world has lost disco queen.
It has also unknown if Summer smoked or how long she had the disease but it believed she contracted the cancer after breathing in dangerous particles in the air after the 911 attacks in New York in 2011.
Donna kept her illness from the public and her fans hence the shock news of her death today. TMZ reports she had told friends she believed she got the cancer inhaling toxic dust from the collapsed Twin Towers.
A statement from her family reads, “Early this morning, surrounded by family, we lost Donna Summer Sudano, a woman of many gifts, the greatest being her faith.
“While we grieve her passing, we are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continued legacy.
“Words truly can’t express how much we appreciate your prayers and love for our family at this sensitive time.”
Donna Summer is survived by husband Bruce Sudano, daughters Brooklyn and Amy and four grand-children.
