Costello will perform with an all-Australian line-up for the tour with Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons, Stephen Cummings, The Sunnyboys and Tex Perkins & The Dark Horses playing the A Day On The Green dates.

Joe Camilleri will perform with Elvis on the theatre shows.

Elvis Costello and the Imposters will feature his ‘The Spectacular Spinning Songbook’ show at the theatres but due to production and stage requirements cannot do the wheel at the A Day On The Green shows. The wheel is a popular part of the Elvis Costello show. Elvis first performed with The Wheel in 1986 in Australia.

January 26, Yarra Valley, Rochford Wines
January 27, McLaren Vale, Leconfield Wines
February 2, Hunter Valley, Bimbadgen Winery
February 3, Mt Cotton, Sirromet Wines
February 6, Perth, Kings Park

Elvis Costello & The Imposters with Joe Camilleri will play:

January 25, Melbourne, Palais Theatre
January 30, Sydney, State Theatre

Tickets go on sale October 29 from ticketmaster.com.au and 136100.

"Paul went away and started the label and George went away and wrote the song”, he said.
