Eric Clapton to Release Christmas Album ‘Happy Xmas’

Eric Clapton has made a Christmas album and it will include a dedication to Avicii.

Eric Clapton will release ‘Happy Xmas’ on October 12. His Avicii dedication is ‘Jingle Bells (In Memory of Avicii).

Clapton and Simon Climie co-produced the album. The cover artwork is by Eric.

The Clapton Christmas songs will be Eric’s first Christmas collection since 1999’s ‘A Very Special Christmas’ where he played on five songs.

Clapton, who we all thought was heading for retirement, will also be heard next month on a new Hawkwind album.
