Fan Finger Severed At Beyonce and Jay-Z Show

A Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z concertgoer has apparently had his finger bitten off.

The married musicians are currently in the midst of their On The Run Tour and played a show at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

According to the LA Times, a man named Robert Alcaraz-Garnica has been arrested following an incident that kicked off in the crowds.

Alcaraz-Garnica was accused of groping a woman in the audience, according to eyewitnesses. The woman’s boyfriend is thought to have initiated a fight in response.

During the brawl, Alcaraz-Garnica reportedly bit down on the boyfriend’s finger, with others at the concert claiming the digit was completely severed. However, police will only confirm that “serious injury” was caused.

Alcaraz-Garnica, 25, was subsequently arrested in the venue on suspicion of sexual battery and mayhem and was transferred to LA County jail on Sunday.

There were ten other arrests at the concert on Saturday, with eight related to drunkenness and two to ticket scalping.

It’s been a turbulent time for pop’s power couple. It’s rumoured their relationship is on the rocks since Beyonce’s sister Solange was filmed attacking Jay in an elevator in May – an incident Beyonce refers to in the recently-released remix of Flawless with Nicki Minaj, in which she raps that “sh*t goes down” when you’re rich.

According to the New York Post’s Page Six, those who know the couple worry the tour will be halted before its scheduled end in Paris on September 13.

Apparently the couple had an “emergency meeting” last week to discuss how they would go ahead.

‘They’re not just staying in different hotel rooms, but they have booked separate hotels, and they arrive separately to each show,’ the insider claimed.

‘They’ve had discussions lately about the inevitable sit-down interview when they finally do split, and Jay’s been adamant that he doesn’t want Beyonce sitting down with Barbara Walters or Oprah Winfrey pretending to be the victim.”
