Florence + The Machine will be back in Australia in May, 2012.

The group was in Sydney a few weeks ago for a one-off corporate gig and will return to Australia for their first arena shows.

The tour will kick off in Perth on May 17.

Florence + The Machine’s second album ‘Ceremonials’ debuted at number one in Australia, knocking off Coldplay after only one week at the top.

May 17, Perth, Burswood Dome
May 20, Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena
May 22, Adelaide, Entertainment Centre
May 24, Sydney, Entertainment Centre
May 26, Brisbane, Riverstage
May 28, Auckland, Vector Arena
