Glee is in its fourth season, and no longer the powerhouse it once was. But it’s still kicking along, and have just added two new actors – Jacob Artist and our own Dean Geyer.

TV Line reports that Geyer will star as “Brody Weston, an upperclassman at NYADA who shows an interest in Lea Michele’s Rachel”. It’s not his first US posting. He played a security guard on the sci-fi series Terra Nova and also had a stint on Neighbours back home.

Geyer first came to Australia’s attention via Australian Idol, where he came in third place behind Jessica Mauboy and Damien Leith. His 2007 debut album Rush hit top ten on the ARIA charts. He was also engaged to Lisa Origliasso, half of The Veronicas.

Check out his voice on ‘If You Don’t Mean It’ below.
