UK hardcore punks Gallows off their first single as a free download and announce their self-titled third album.

The furious punk rock of Gallows’ first two albums Orchestra of Wolves and Grey Britain certainly shook up the heavy music scene, and now the band prepare their third, self-titled album.

It’ll be the first release (excepting last December’s Death Is Birth EP) to feature new singer and former Alexisonfire frontman Wade MacNeil after the departure of Frank Carter almost exactly a year ago.

The band say in a presser, “We made this record self-titled as it musically defines the band known as Gallows as we exist today. This our statement of intent, our laugh in the face of those who said GALLOWS were done when in reality we’re just warming up. We couldn’t feel more vindicated and proud.”

To kick off the eleven-track album, which will be released on Shock’s new Halfcut label on September 14, they’re offering first single ‘Last June’ for a free download on their website. Or just listen below.
