Gary Clark Jr was the big winner at the Austin Music Awards this year taking home all of the top prizes.

The Austin Music Awards is the City of Austin’s main music event held each year during SXSW.
Clark, who is on tour in Japan this week, could not attend his hometown awards this year. When he was recently in Australia he told Noise11 this was the first time in years that he had missed SXSW.

Album of the Year – Blak and Blu
Song of the Year – Ain’t Messin’ ‘Round
Best Electric Guitar
Best Male Vocals
Best Songwriter
Best Blues/Soul/Funk
