Gene Simmons has married Shannon Tweed, his lady of 28 years and mother to his two children Nick and Sophie.

Shannon, a former Playboy playmate, married Gene in front of 400 guests at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The wedding was filmed and will be an episode of their reality TV show ‘Gene Simmon’s Family Jewels’.

Gene’s “other partner”, Kiss co-founder Paul Stanley, was a member of the wedding party. Daughter Sophie was matron of honor.

Guests at the wedding included Hugh Hefner and Bill Maher.

Shannon wore $2.5 million of diamonds to the wedding. The couple then danced the first dance to Etta James’ ‘At Last’, performed by Sophie.

The Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed wedding episode will air on Later this month on A&E.
