Gene Simmons Calls Out Madonna For Miming

by Paul Cashmere on May 26, 2016

in News

Gene Simmons has called out Madonna and Rihanna for miming, the irony being Kiss doctored all of their live albums in the studio.

Peter Frampton once confirmed that he is the guitarist of the classic Kiss Alive album after it was doctored in the studio.

Now loud-mouthed Simmons recently took aim at stars who mime but claim they’re singing live.

“The Madonnas, the Shakiras, the Rihannas… they’re all very good, talented – but dishonest. They never tell their fans, ‘Fifty per cent of this is pre-recorded music, I’m actually just moving my mouth up and down, and whatever else is going on’,” he shrugged to Britain’s Metro newspaper.

Kiss spent two weeks in a Melbourne studio reworking the “live” Symphony album. He has often criticised Ace Frehley for claiming his Kiss heritage by publicly stating that Frehley wasn’t even on some Kiss recordings baring his name.
