Initially, George was to tour Australia in March and April this year but fell ill and put his world tour on hold.

The new dates will kick off on November 13 in Adelaide.

Symphonica features re-worked and re-arranged versions of George’s greatest hits with a symphony orchestra. However, since returning to full health George has recorded his new album ‘White Light’ which he has called “the best dance record I’ve ever made” so fans can look forward to a few new songs in the revised set.

Tickets for George Michael Symphonica go on sale in Australia on May 10 at 12 noon through Ticketek with the presale at 9am on Saturday May 5.

Dates are:

November 13, Adelaide, Entertainment Centre
November 17, Sydney, Allphones Arena
November 21, Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena
November 27, Brisbane, Entertainment Centre
December 1, Hunter Valley, Hope Estate Winery
