When Gladys Knight decides to get back down to recording, she certainly does it with purpose.
Knight has been busy with acting over the last few years even while she has continued to record as a solo artist. In 2013, she released Another Journey and, last year, Where My Heart Belongs with the latter making it to number 34 on the R&B Albums and 8 on the Gospel Albums charts.
On Thursday, Knight posted her latest project and this one could put her back on the charts, in this case the Dance Singles. Just a Little opens with an urgent drum beat, Knight’s voice and staccato horns to set up one great piece of dance music.
