Portland instrumental rockers Grails are here for the This Is Nowhere fest and they’ll go up the East Coast.

The cult heroes have been releasing an album per year of dense, intense instrumental post-rock adorned with hypnotic strings since their formation as Laurel Canyon in 2000, and earning plaudits from the more hipster end of the music press for as long.
The band will play at Perth’s This Is Nowhere festival alongside Tortoise, Beach Fossils, Xiu Xiu and more, will join Tortoise in Melbourne at the Corner beforehand, and then head back up and down the East Coast.
