Helmet To Play 30th Anniversary Dates In Australia

Helmet will mark their 30th anniversary by performing 30 songs for their upcoming Australian tour.

Helmet will return to Australia in 2020 for the ’30 years 30 Songs’ tour in May.

Helmet formed in New York City in 1989 and endured numerous line-ups with singer songwriter Page Hamilton the consistent influence across every decade.

At one stage when Helmet was in hiatus, Hamilton was the guitarist for David Bowie on the ‘Hours’ tour. He guested on Linkin Park’s ‘The Hunting Party’ album and also on the side has his own jazz band the Page Hamilton Quintet.
