Rod Stewart can return to Holiday Inns for the first time in forty years.

Stewart was on The Late Late Show with James Corden last week in a segment that has since gone viral where they ride around the city talking on a variety of subjects including Rod’s time with the Faces smashing up hotel rooms (2:45 in the following clip).

Stewart told Corden “We’d empty rooms, stick furniture in the lift and send it to the lobby. I did it in Perth and got a £7000 bill. … We’d announce that we were having a party back at the Holiday Inn on stage and everybody would flock back. We let most of the girls in, not all of the men. There’d be hundreds and hundreds of people.”

On Thursday, Holiday Inn sent a Tweet to Stewart welcoming him back to which Rod immediately took up the offer posting “Careful what you wish for. After parties @holidayinn on tour this summer.”
