Ice T To Bring Body Count Back To Australia In June

by Paul Cashmere on April 4, 2017

in News

Gangster-metal rappers Body Count will return to Australia in June for the first time in 22 years for shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Body Count recently released their sixth studio album ‘Bloodlust’ featuring guest appearances from Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), D. Randall Blythe (Lamb Of God) and Max Cavalera (Sepultura).

“The ‘60s was real music, and BODY COUNT was born into that – I’m going to tell you how I feel about shit, that’s who I am and who I will always be. Now, in 2017, let’s see if people are really as pissed off as they act like they are. We’re dealing with a generation that has never known rage. They grew up on Obama, they’re soft today.” says Ice T

The debut album for Body Count, featuring the controversial ‘Cop Killer’, was released 25 years ago in 1992.

Body Count Australian dates

June 1, Brisbane, The Tivoli
June 2, Melbourne, Margaret Court Arena
June 3, Sydney, Hordern Pavilion
