Jason Mraz Joins Billy Joel At San Diego Show

San Diego legend Jason Mraz joined Billy Joel on stage at Petco Park over the weekend to assist with the Joel classic ‘You May Be Right’.

Joel often has guests at his shows with Brian Johnson and Jon Stevens performing with him in recent years.

Billy Joel set a record for the stadium selling out just 45 seconds after going on sale.

The last time Joel played the venue was 15 years ago with Elton John. He performed Elton’s ‘Your Song’ in the set as a tribute as well as Eagles ‘Take It Easy’, in memory of the late Glenn Frey.

The Billy Joel show is only greatest hits. “I don’t have anything new for you, just all the same old stuff,” Joel told the audience. It’s true. His last album was ‘River of Dreams’ in 1993.
