Jimmy Barnes Is Recording With Keith Urban

Jimmy Barnes is recording in the USA this week with Australian country legend Keith Urban.

Barnes flew to Los Angeles last week to work on his next record at Revolver Studios.

Jimmy recently announced that he was about to start work on his new album with ex-pat Aussie Kevin Shirley and make another Rhythm & Blues record. The new album is expected to be a sequel to Jimmy’s 2009 album ‘The Rhythm & The Blues’, produced in Los Angeles with Don Gehman. That album peaked at no. 1 on the ARIA chart and sold platinum in Australia.

Jimmy’s last studio album was ‘Rage And Ruin’ in 2010. His last solo release was the download ‘Pleasure House’ written with Jackson Freud.

The last album Jimmy recorded with Cold Chisel was ‘No Plans’ released in 2012. He also says a new Cold Chisel album is possible during 2014.
