Kanye West Sets US Tour Dates

Kanye West will head out across North America for Live Nation.

The rapper released sixth album Yeezus in June, which received rave reviews.

Now the musician has announced he will be heading on a solo tour this fall – his first in five years.

Sharing the news with fans, he simply tweeted “TOUR (sic)”.

Attached was a religious-looking picture of a shadowy figure floating towards rays of light coming from above.

The image also revealed the Kendrick Lamar would be the support act for Kanye.

Beginning in Seattle on October 19, he will move through America, finishing up in Houston on December 7.

While Yeezus has generally been well received, it hasn’t all been plain sailing since the rapper released the record.

In the song On Sight, Kanye appears to use Parkinson’s disease as a punch line, and the insensitive move attracted anger from the American Parkinson Disease Association.

The track features the line, “A monster about to come alive again / Soon as I pull up and park the Benz / We get this b***h shaking like Parkinson’s.”

Kanye last toured with Jay Z in 2011 and 2012 for the Watch the Throne Tour.

It’s not clear yet whether his solo tour will be extended past December or travel to other countries.
