Kasey Chambers and her dad Bill Chambers feature on a new album honouring the work of Ted Hawkins.
Kasey and Bill perform the title track to the tribute record ‘Cold And Bitter Tears’.
Ted Hawkins rose to fame in his mid 50s after living the life of a hobo in the USA. Not long after finally making his way out of obscurity, Ted died suddenly on January 1, 1995.
The album ‘Cold and Bitter Tears: The Song of Ted Hawkins’, is due October 23, 2015 on Austin-based Eight 30 Records. It will be the first tribute album to the soulful Venice Beach street performer.
