Kaya Stewart Releases Major Label Debut

Dave Stewart’s teenage daughter Kaya has revealed her debut song ‘In Love With A Boy’.

According to Kaya’s bio she was inspired by “Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin when she was given a record player for her birthday, but her passion for music also encompasses Beyonce, Emeli Sande and beyond”.

Kaya gave her first public performance when she joined her dad on stage at the Troubadour in West Hollywood and belted out a soulful version of his Eurythmics songs ‘Missionary Man’.

In May 2014, Kaya signed with Warner Brothers Records and began working on her first record at Blackbird Studios in Nashville.

Kaya ‘In Love With A Boy’ will be available through iTunes on 21 April 2015.
