Kingswood Release New Song ‘Creepin’

by Paul Cashmere on October 12, 2016

in News

Melbourne’s Kingswood is preparing for a follow-up to their debut ‘Microscopic Wars’ with a new song ‘Creepin’.

‘Creepin’ is the first new music for Kingswood since 2014.

‘Creepin” is the first single off the forthcoming Kingswood album, recorded in Nashville by Edward Spear. The video, directed by the band’s Alex Laska, features Mietta Gornall, Olivia Paine, Kristy Lee Donovan, Georgia Taylor and Kalman Warhaft.

“Creepin is a song about the darker and more lustful parts of one’s mind when longing for an object or person of desire,” Laska said in a statement. “The idea being an attempt at reconciliation of the thought itself when the reality is an insatiable quest that ultimately transforms the protagonist entirely from something quite innocent and pure into a more sinister, powerful self through recognition of this transformation.”

Since 2013 Kingwood has toured Australia with AC/DC and Aerosmith.
