Ford, along with Joan Jett, Sandy West, Jackie Fox and Cherie Currie, were The Runaways from 1975-1979. Their big hit was ‘Cherry Bomb’.

In 2010, the movie ‘The Runaways’ told their story. Scout Taylor=Compton played Ford in the movie.

The Runaways went on to influence more girl groups who came later such as L7 and The Donnas.

Joan Jett will also be touring Australia in April.

Lita Ford will play:

May 23, Melbourne, Prince Bandroom
May 25, Sydney, The Factory Theatre
