Estrada pleaded guilty for molesting a child under 14 for an extended period of time.

The court heard how Estrada abused a female family member after he had been released from prison on another child molestation charge.

Estrada will serve the 25 year sentence and will not be eligible for parole.
Roy Estrada formed the Mothers of Invention with Frank Zappa but left in 1969 to form Little Feat with Lowell George. He played on the first two Little Feat albums.

After Little Feat he joined Captain Beefheart’s Magic Band and then return to Zappa in 1976 for the ‘Zoot Allures’ album.

In December 1994 Estrada was sentenced to six years for lewd acts with a child. The 68-year bass player will be 93 when he is released from prison this time.
