The newest production of cult classic Little Shop of Horrors had Melbourne cheering, gasping, laughing and crying when it opened at the Comedy Theatre.
‘Little Shop of Horrors’ has a top-shelf Australian cast with Brent Hill staring as Seymour, the flower shop worker at Mushnik’s Florist and multiple-award winner Esther Hannaford as Audrey.
Audrey ll goes from a small plant in a pot to a mammoth creation that takes over the world.
The puppet, created by Erth, is exceptional and even more incredible is the fact that Brent Hill is also the voice of Audrey ll. He changes from one to the other with such apparent ease but obviously with such incredible skill.
Angelique Cassimatis (The Rocky Horror Show), Josie Lane (Miracle City, Fame) and Chloe Zuel (Legally Blonde) play the three Supreme-esque streetwise urchins
Esther Hannaford excels as Audrey.
Little Shop Of Horrors is currently playing a very limited season in Melbourne before continuing the Australian tour.
