Lorde has been immortalised on South Park.
On this week’s South Park episode the Kiwi teen star has crossed the line from pop to culture after she was parodied on the hit show.
Kanye West, Barbra Streisand, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Michael Jackson have previously been named checked on South Park as has one other New Zealander Russell Crowe.
In the episode, Randy Marsh, father of Stan, dresses up as Lorde after telling his son that he knows Lorde’s uncle and can get her to appear to the kid’s party.
After the older, moustached Lorde appears, Clyde says, ‘I’m glad the food is good, Lorde sucks!’ Jimmy says, ‘yeah, she isn’t as hot in person.’
