Madonna has the top album, and Carly Rae Jepsen has the top single, on a refreshed ARIA chart.

Madonna’s latest MDNA has debuted at number one on the ARIA Album Chart today, heading up a decent collection of new entries.

It looks like Adele’s record-breaking run at the top of the chart has ended, as 21 slips behind Hilltop Hoods and One Direction, to take the number four position.

Otherwise, it’s Skrillex, Bob Seger, Lana Del Rey, Ed Sheeran, Bruce Springsteen and finally the ever-present Bruno Mars rounding out the top ten.

This week’s new entries begin with Creedence’s Ultimate Collection at 14, The Mars Volta’s Noctourniquet at 18, and the rebooted Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection from Katy Perry at 19.

There’s another clump in the 30s, with Odd Future’s  OF Tape Vol. 2 at 34, Faith Hill’s Hits collection at 35, and Lionel Richie’s Tuskegee album at 36.

Then UK soul songstress Rebecca Ferguson pops in at 40 with her album Heaven, metallers Meshuggah appear at 43 with Koloss and Tony Bennett’s Duets double whammy CD/DVD sneaks in at 48.

Evanescence’s self-titled album climbed from 42 to 25 with the tour, and a tour announcement has bumped Florence + The Machine’s Ceremonials back up to 15 from 33.

A month-long ascent sees Canadian Bieber-labelmate Carly Rae Jepsen top the Singles Chart for the first time with ‘Call Me Maybe’, outranking Justin Bieber himself, whose ‘Boyfriend’ debuted at five.
