This week Metallica release a four-track EP of Death Magnetic outtakes titled Beyond MagneticRod Stewart delivers a huge package – four CDs, 64-tracks, as Storyteller: Anthology 1964-1990 and Chris Isaak releases a Best Of.

 

The country keeps a-coming ahead of Tamworth with John Williamson’s news album The Big Red and Tim McGraw’s Emotional Traffic.

Swedish folkies First Aid Kit release their much-anticipated second album Lion’s Roar and Sydney bluesman Steve Smyth offers his debut Release.

Brit-poppers The Maccabees deliver their third album Given To The Wild and UK alt-rock nutters Pulled Apart By Horses drop album number two Tough Love.

Melbourne synthpop fiends Strange Talk have a self-titled debut and Odd Future project The Internet delivers the hard copy of Purple Naked Ladies.

Finally, Pitchfork-approved Ohio indie-rockers Cloud Nothings deliver their third album Attack On Memory.
