Models have been back in the studio recording new music.

The line-up featuring Sean Kelly, Andrew Duffield, Barton Price and Mark Ferrie have been working on new music and will road-test the new material as well as Models classics at two shows in Melbourne in September.

Models last studio album was ‘Media’ in 1986. They only recorded five albums from 1980 to 1986.

The hits included ‘Out Of Mind Out Of Sight’, ‘Barbados’, ‘I Hear Motion’ and ‘Let’s Kiss’. Their final single was a cover of The Beatles ‘Oh Darling’.

Models were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2010 but then tragedy struck in November 2010 with the death of James Freud.

Models will perform on September 20 and 21 at Ding Dong Lounge, Melbourne.
