Mondo Rock And Mi-Sex To Play Theatres In August

by Paul Cashmere on April 29, 2015

in Live,News

Mondo Rock will return for live shows in theatres in August with special guests Mi-Sex.

Mondo Rock last performed for One Electric Day and Red Hot Summer. The band reunited in June 2014 for the ‘Chemistry – 33 1/3 Anniversary tour’ to mark the re-release of their classic 1981 ‘Chemistry’ album.

The Mondo Rock line-up features original band members Ross Wilson, Eric McCusker, James Black and Paul Christie with The Aztecs drummer Gil Matthews.

“Getting back together with the original Chemistry era Mondo Rock members, I imagine, is like when war veterans get back together ‘you had to be there, no one else understands’ kind of thing. And then when we do re-unite, we’ll raise all kinds of musical hell,” Ross Wilson said in a statement.

Mondo Rock dates

August 1, Brisbane, QPAC
August 21, Sydney, State Theatre
August 22, Melbourne, Palais Theatre
