Monty Python’s classic song album ‘Monty Python Sings’ has been reissued to mark the live shows in London.
The original album was released in 1989 and featured all the Monty Python classics such as ‘Sit On My Face And Tell Me That You Love Me’, ‘The Penis Song’, ‘Every Sperm Is Sacred’ and the two megabits ‘Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life’ and ‘I Like Chinese’.
The newly expand 2CD version features six songs not on the original album and the entire Flying Circus live performance album from 1970.
One of the never before heard tracks is ‘Lousy Song’, written during the recording of 1980’s ‘Contractual Obligation Album’.
“It is the only totally improvised sketch I can remember Python doing. Graham enters the recording studio when I’m listening back to a song I have recorded. I think it is very funny,” Eric Idle said.
